Thoughts on 1Corinthians 10

Good afternoon everyone! I hope everyone is having a good week so far, we are halfway through! I am in the waiting room while my dad has eye surgery 🙂 .
1 Corinthians 10:4 talks about how the people under Moses drank the same spiritual rock and the rock was Christ. I revisited the story in exodus 17 and saw how they thirst in the wilderness and Moses than cried out to the Lord and smote the rock whence water came out. Sometimes we in our lives we are in a spiritual wilderness where it’s hot and we are thirsty for God, and we may feel like we hit rock bottom or may feel like them ‘you called us out of Egypt so we can die here?’ Let us not forget that Jesus once stood in John 7:37 and said ‘if any man thirst let him come to me and drink’. Only He can quench our spiritual thirst and fill our empty hearts with his Holy Spirit. He is there for us we just need to go to him and drink.
