THREE DAY QUOTE CHALLENGE! DAY 3

Happy Friday everyone! I hope the start of the weekend is going great for you’ll.  I’m doing fun stuff like getting my car maintenance  done;). Today is my last day for the three-day quote so here it goes:).

Thank you https://awakeningwildflower.com, , for nominating me for the “3 Day Quote Challenge.” This has been a lot of fun! The rules for this challenge are, thankfully, easy to fulfill:

♣ Thank the person who nominated you. Thanks,  https://awakeningwildflower.com/

♣ Post a quote for 3 days, and explain why it appeals to you.

♣…Nominate bloggers each day! My quote today:

Mother Teresa’s AnywayPoem

People are often unreasonable, illogical and self-centered;
Forgive them anyway.

If you are kind, people may accuse you of selfish, ulterior motives;
Be kind anyway.

If you are successful, you will win some false friends and some true enemies;
Succeed anyway.

If you are honest and frank, people may cheat you;
Be honest and frank anyway.

What you spend years building, someone could destroy overnight;
Build anyway.

If you find serenity and happiness, they may be jealous;
Be happy anyway.

The good you do today, people will often forget tomorrow;
Do good anyway.

Give the world the best you have, and it may never be enough;
Give the world the best you’ve got anyway.

You see, in the final analysis, it is between you and your God; it was never between you and them anyway.

I love this quote because it’s a great reminder of what our motives should be behind our actions :). May we keep this in mind this weekend and always!

  1. PTL! I have long been encouraged by Mother Teresa… by her words AND her testimony… including the years she continually asked those with authority over her for permission to go do the work the Lord was laying on her heart. All the years they said no, she was still faithful and obedient… to God… by submitting to the authority God had placed over her. He opened the doors in His timing, and honored her for honoring Him! Love the poem! ❤
    Thank you for thinking of me with the nomination! God bless you!
