Tuesday Thoughts 💭 on 2 Corinthians 2

Happy Tuesday! I can’t believe how fast this month is slipping through my fingers! I seem to be grasping for loose ends to wrap this month up nicely but, so far without success. LOL

I keep praying God gives me strength and patience. For sure he is keeping me humble and reminding me to lean on him and not on my own understanding and strength.

Although I haven’t posted on my bible journaling I still doing my best to journal in my notebook.

Here are a few thoughts on 2Corinthians 2:14&15 it was interesting to me how Paul describes us as fragrance & aroma of God. I had flashback of when I was pregnant with my youngest Isabella, I was very sensitive to all kinds of smells and a co worker’s cologne would make me nauseated, it didn’t bother me before or even now but at the time it made me so sick. Anyway I found myself wondering if at the moment I am being a pleasant aroma. I don’t want to be some strong unpleasant fragrance that makes people want to turn away from God. It’s so easy for me to get caught up in my own world I hope I am not forgetting to shine his light and love to others.

  1. Thank you for that story! I realized that how we interpret smells can depend on what’s going on inside. The phrase my son utters when I’m tired or already annoyed will trigger my temper; but if I’m in a good mood, it doesn’t bother me. Thank goodness that the Lord is not capricious or moody! Our aroma is all on us.
