Tuesday Thoughts 💭 on 2 Corinthians 8

2 Corinthians 8:9 ‘for you know the grace of our Lord Jesus Christ, that though he was rich, yet for your sake he became poor, so that you by his poverty might become rich’.

Jesus left his throne to come as a servant and give his life for us. How be it that our King humbled himself that way? He once told some followers in Matthew 8:20, that foxes had dens and birds had nest but he had nowhere to lay his head. Just picture the Almighty with no pillow or bed, serving humanity so that we will have the opportunity to one day be in glory with him, past pearly gates next to a crystal sea. We might not be rich here but, we have all we need if we have Jesus. Although heaven sounds amazing just the thought of being in His presence for ever brings chills to my soul and tears to my face.
Thank you Jesus that you gave up your all for us even though we may not deserve it, your love for us is amazing and I love you and praise you for all you’ve done and continue to do for us.🙏🏾
