Tuesday Thoughts 💭: 2 Corinthians 12

Happy Tuesday!

2 Corinthians 12: 8-9 Three times I pleaded with the Lord to take it away from me. But he said to me, “My grace is sufficient for you, for my power is made perfect in weakness.” Therefore I will boast all the more gladly about my weaknesses, so that Christ’s power may rest on me.

Paul talks about pleading for God to remove something from his skin but God says, ‘my grace is sufficient for you…’. I wonder how many times I ask for stuff that is not in his plan for me  because,  he desires for me to want his grace to be sufficient, but I won’t accept it. It’s so easy for me to pray ‘MY WILL be done’ instead of , ‘Thy will be done’. As his children we can ask for anything but many times he will say no or that’s not necessary, just like we tell our own kids.
God help to stay humble, and grateful even when I desire different plans. Let me desire what you have in store for me and walk in the path you have destined for me. In Jesus name, Amen🙏🏾

    1. I tell myself this yet I can be very stubborn sometimes, or I can be willing to accept his will but have trouble with his timing. I want immediate answers but, that is not how He works.

  1. We propose and God disposes! No matter how our plans are and we try to excute them, the final result is never in our hands. I always do my best and leave the rest to him, “Let his will be done” is just a way of accepting the unpredictability of the world 🌍 I enjoyed reading 📖 Thanks and remain blessed 🙌
