When the Butterflies Dance : Book Review

This is another fabulous historical romance by author Kim Williams! The way she captures the emotions of the characters and their relatable trials had me on pins and needles.  As I rode through the twists and turns in Katherine’s and Ben’s estrange marriage, I wanted to get inside the book and help them out. I can’t imagine life without a cell phone lol!!

I love how Kim highlights the  important role pastors/ministers have with their encouraging words and burden for souls.

I was disappointed  Lina’s love story wasn’t in a separate book,  but I guess that can happen if

when you grow attached to characters 😉.

This can certainly be read as a stand alone but it will be a spoiler alert to some important events that took place in book one! By the way if you did not read the review on book one you should check it out! I interviewed the author about the amazing background story to this series 😉   https://faithandbooks.com/2018/08/29/among-the-crepe-myrtles-book-review-author-interview-giveaway/

Well without further ado I present:

When the Butterflies Dance (Letters to Layton) (Volume 2)

Product description

Life can be thwarted by misunderstanding. Forced to leave home after making a devastating decision, Ben Williams longs to be forgiven and reunited with his wife and child. His efforts to provide and parent from a distance and his written pleas for forgiveness to his wife seem to go unheeded. Separated from those he loves, Ben finally relinquish his longtime grudge against God and accepts His forgiveness. However, despite this new faith, Ben struggles with the courage to do what restoration with his family requires. Katherine Williams is torn between the love she feels for her estranged husband and the reasoning that he does not deserve to be reunited with her and their child. The tension has slowly transformed her into a guarded, controlling, and unhappy woman who cannot forgive her own mistake. When she at last releases her harsh feelings, life threatens her hope of restoration and the well-being of those she loves and protects, forcing her to either maintain a tight control over her family or release them to God. When the Butterflies Dance is the second book in the Letters to Layton series inspired by true events.
