This year I’m trying to be organized and that means cutting back on things to manage my time better.
I’m excited because this will allow for me to reach more goals, including attacking my TBR pile!
Can you believe I have at least 20 books from last year! 🤦♂️
I want to read for leisure though and not be stressed about a due date for review or obsessing about finishing my pile either. So I plan on selecting one fiction from my TBR each month. Also I want to read more non-fiction that will help my spiritual growth but since these take me twice as long to go through I will probably pick these bimonthly unless they are small. This month from my pile I selected my first biblical fiction that I won in December at a Facebook party. I’m excited because it’s set in Paul’s time and he happens to be one of my fave people in the New Testament and for my Non-fiction I chose a book about prayer that I picked up at church ⛪.
Last year on certain months I reviewed up to 4 books for different publishers not including reviews for authors that reached out to me. It would get stressful when I’d get behind and not leave me much time for my own writing. So this year I will try to stick to one review for publisher/author per month. This month I made an exception for two because I received one book last month which I already finished but not scheduled to post until the 17th.
It is such a great book I can’t wait to share 😉. The other book is by Jaime Jo Wright which I am still waiting for but super excited about! She is a split time mystery suspense author that will leave you thrilled!
Anyway this is my bookish life in a nut shell. I have one more book that I read in December but have yet to review but I’m glad I’m caught up on my readings and plan to enjoy it more this year! So what are you reading?

Great reads! Thank you for sharing! As for me: Mostly the Bible. I feel I never have enough time to learn more. Although I did recently read a book by Lori Cunningham called “The Pain of Reality and the Reality of Pain”. It is a book of poetry capturing her story of overcoming abuse. Very powerful.

That is one series I need to revisit. I think I only read the first two. I might see if the library has the audio books 😉.

Books that I are on my reading list are the Trixie Beldan books, the fantastic five (I think that’s what it’s called) and I have very recently finished reading the first book in the Last Thirteen book series, which is excellent.
