A Little Bit for Everyone

I’m in over my head with Netgalley reviews! If I don’t catch up by the end of the year, I’ll make it my New Years’ resolution šŸ˜†.

While I’m still posting on Amazon, I decided to only select my favorite from each genre to share on this post and hopefully one will appeal to to you šŸ˜‰.

First up is Women’s Fiction:

Have you ever picked a word for the year instead of making a new year’s resolution? I’ve done it a few times. So this novel resonated with me. These friends each pick a word and learn to depend or use it in their lives’ struggles. I love how author Robin brings in the topic of marriage, family, busy life, and its many temptations. The godly encouragement they offer each other is written in such a way that made me feel like I was part of their group and it’s a must-read for friends, women’s book club, or anyone who enjoys women’s fiction. It’s Down to earth with real-life trials, messy mistakes, and lots of grace. This is one I plan to buy for some of my gal friends.

Next up Historical Fiction:

Such a fun novel! I literally lol with all the mayhems surrounding a spinsters guidebook, read by a woman trying to survive in her telegraph career in a man’s world. This historical romance is one of the best comical, light-hearted, novels I’ve read this year. I can’t wait for the rest of the series and I’ll probably end up buying this one!

Next Contemporary Romance:

Amazing novel! Although it’s considered Contemporary Romance, the personal conflicts the main characters deal with reminded me of the depth WF get into. The mom’s journal the Emily uses as her guidance, and the Hollis trying to make up for years lost with his daughter. Just an amazing good read.

Next Suspense:

This is probably in my top three fave books this whole year! had a little bit of a hard time understanding the first chapter or maybe my mind wasn’t focused but I pressed on and so glad I did! The author blended humor and edge so well, I was either laughing out loud or squealing with anticipation. Once I was hooked I couldn’t put it down. I even cried at one point. What?! So many twists and turns. Unpredictable. When I was done I immediately bought book two. It’s a series you won’t want to miss if you like suspense!

Last but not least Non-Fiction:

Entrepreneur Kara shares her ups in down with her flavored water business as she invites you to step out of your comfort zone and pursue your dreams. Business or otherwise. Just very encouraging about not letting others hold you back. This was an audio boom through NetGalley and I loved the narrator’s voice.

Let me know if any of these caught your eye or if you’ve read any of these authors :).

  2. We all are. It’s good to be back – a few serious health issues since May. I saw the photos of your girls on Instagram. They’ve really grown. Veronica’s sitting up. Time flew by this year. ā™„ļø
